The Delaware Academy Student Senate is sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, March 6 from 8:00 to 1:00 pm at the auxiliary gym. During the month of March, all those donating blood can receive a $10 Amazon gift card by email from the American Red Cross.
Delaware Academy Presents – The Wizard of Oz! Shows are Thursday, March 6th @ 4PM (senior citizen show with dinner by donation); Friday, March 7 @ 7:00 PM; Saturday, March 8 @ 7:00 PM; and Sunday, March 9 @ 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Please join us!
The 5th grade orchestra, 5th grade chorus and 5th grade band delivered a delightful performance Tuesday! The students were well prepared, as our music department did a great job with them! Thank you to Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Buel, Mrs. Lindner and accompanist Mrs. Wheatley, and a special thanks to Chi-Young Hwang, who was our long-term substitute for Mrs. Buel from September-December. Bravo, bravo!
Seniors Will Kulaski, Ivan Richardson, Thomas Nagy, Seamus DeMauro and Rocco Schnabel were recognized at last night’s boys varsity basketball game. The Buldogs went on to defeat Unatego/Franklin 85-43. Best wishes to our seniors, and good luck to the Bulldogs in the MAC League semifinal game against Sidney on Saturday!

Here's a shoutout to the Delaware Academy Class of 2024, which recently donated a supply of graduation gowns to be made available for borrowing by graduating seniors. We appreciate this generous and practical gift!
Families are asked to have their seniors complete the form located on the Senior Information page of the school website to indicate whether a gown will be borrowed or purchased.

The girls basketball games scheduled for this Saturday February 1 are CANCELED.
The boys basketball games scheduled for Saturday against Johnson City will still take place, with the JV game at 2:00 pm and the Varsity game at 3:45 pm at Delaware Academy.
Students at Delaware Academy’s high school and middle school heard from representatives of area employers at the annual College & Career Day Thursday. High school students also heard from college admissions representatives. The College & Career Day is organized in partnership with DCMO BOCES Career Destinations program. A total of 21 employers and 6 colleges were represented at the event; 10 of the speakers were also Delaware Academy alumni.
Due to concerns of freezing on secondary roads later in the day, Delaware Academy is now CLOSED for today, Friday, January 31.
