Mrs. Burrows' Kindergarten class went to SUNY Delhi to bake chocolate chip cookies with Chef Pehrsson and some of his Culinary students. The Kindergarten students got chef hats that they decorated and wore as they helped to mix together the cookie dough ingredients. After the chocolate chips were added, the Kindergartners used scoops to place the dough on the trays to prepare for baking. While the students waited for their delicious cookies to bake, they decorated bags to be used to take the cookies home. Soon the aroma of fresh cookies filled the large kitchen and the DA students got to eat their yummy cookies! What a wonderful baking experience the Kindergartners had with the SUNY Delhi students!

School administration, staff and Board members, as well as representatives from professionals involved in informing the project, were present to answer questions and provide clarification. Voting on the Capital Project Proposition will take place on Tuesday, April 16 from noon to 8:00 pm in the lobby of the Middle School Gym.
