The Delaware Academy Central School District has been informed that a third-party company is contacting local businesses and families on behalf of the Delaware Academy FFA. This third party is attempting to sell ad space for t-shirt sponsorship and provides the name of an FFA advisor. Delaware Academy is in no way affiliated with this third party, nor do we promote involvement through its solicitation.
Please feel free to report to your local law enforcement if you receive any correspondence similar to this. As always, if you need to verify anything, don't hesitate to get in touch with the district.

Due to the impending storm, Delaware Academy will be dismissing at 11:30am today, Wednesday, 1/25/23. Lunches will be served prior to dismissal. Families - if there are any changes to your child's drop-off location, please call the main office of your child's school.

Join us on Tuesday, October 18th as the District hosts a special Board of Education meeting to explore, inform, and educate on some exciting possibilities that could have a substantial impact on the future capital projects.
We’ll share some ideas and discuss the importance of fiscal strategy, as well as hear a formal presentation.
This will be followed by future public forums, surveys, and presentations to engage our community in planning over the next month.

While summer marches onward, progress is being made all around the DA campus. Work on the Tennis Courts continues, more updates to come!
Earlier today, our buildings were notified of a threat to a nearby location in the village of Delhi. At no time was there a threat toward our school. As a precaution, we enacted our emergency response procedures and moved into a lockout status. With the assistance of law enforcement, all students who were attending any summer programs were transferred safely to their families once we received word that the threat had been mitigated. As always, safety of our students and staff is a top priority.
Thank you to our DA staff and local law enforcement who assisted in this and to our students and families for cooperating with procedures today.
