The Catskill Area School Study Council is offering a Winter/Spring Online SAT Prep

Mrs. Kane and 10 Sources of Strength Peer Leaders from the high school volunteered to do gratitude activities with the 4th and 5th grade students in November. They helped students complete a thankfulness chain, with each student writing down one thing they are thankful for on a paper link, and Peer Leaders assembling the chain. They also helped students write a thank-you note to a person of their choice. They were encouraged to share the note with the person they chose. The activity closed by playing one of the high school students' favorite games: reverse charades. The clues were created by the Peer Leaders and showcased a few of the things they are grateful for. We are grateful for our SOS Peer Leaders!

The “No Shave November” event organized by Mr. Mackey has come to end, raising $235 (so far) for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to all our Bulldog staff who participated (including Mr. Gibbons and Mr. Verspoor, not shown in the pictures)!

There was a lot to be thankful for last week, and that includes students in the SUNY Delhi Nursing program, who donated to the DA National Junior Honor Society's Food Drive. Thank you, NJHS, for organizing the drive, and thank you to all the classes who are participating!

Herr Legg, Mr. Albright and our DA students are enjoying their German exchange experience! They started with some touring, including these sights that they’ve shared: the Checkpoint Charlie Museum and the Deutscher Dom; tour of the Eastside Gallery, an open-air art gallery on the banks of the Spree in Friedrichshain featuring the longest continuous section of the Berlin Wall still in existence; and Der Siegesäule (Victory Tower) in Berlin.
5 Delaware Academy students were inducted into the prestigious National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on Thursday night at the DCMO BOCES Harrold Campus. Today, students in the 10th grade Career Explorations class heard from Brandon Gregory, a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, learning about the routines of a cadet's life and the process for applying. Cadet Gregory graduated from Franklin CSD in 2022.
