16 students from the junior class traveled to SUNY Broome Thursday to attend the SUNY College Fair. Students got a chance to speak with over 35 representatives from SUNY colleges.

Our SRO Mr. Ferrara captured yesterday's snow storm as it rolled up the valley toward the school. Brrrr! Thankfully, the sun is out today, so we can get back to that spring state of mind!

What a wonderful Pops Concert! Musical talent was on display, with great performances by the Jazz Band, Modern Band, Senior High Chorus, Senior High Orchestra and Senior High Concert Band. Paisley Smith also performed a moving vocal and piano solo. Thanks, Mrs. Gibson, Ms. Linder and Ms. Lamb for inspiring our students and organizing the concert. It was a fun evening (more cowbell!)










A range of creative artwork was on display in the high school lobby last night for the Middle School/High School Art Show. Interesting work by talented students! Thank you, Mrs. Reid-Jackson and Mr. Kollig!









Bravo to the cast and crew of The Wizard of Oz for an amazing show this month! The fresh and imaginative production was highly entertaining, and showcased the abundance of talent among our students. Thanks to director & producer Mrs. Ainsworth, vocal music director Mrs. Gibson, pit orchestra director Mrs. Lindner, as well as Mrs. Reid-Jackson, Mrs. Coleman and a host of other staff, alumni, student and parent volunteers for all the time and effort they put in to make the show such a success! Delaware Academy hosted the Delaware County School Music Association All-County Music Festival last Friday and Saturday, culminating in a wonderful set of performances Saturday afternoon. A number of our talented DA students participated in the event. Thank you to our music faculty, Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Lindner, Mrs. Buel and Ms. Lamb, with a special shoutout to Mrs. Lindner for serving as the festival site chairperson.





It looks like the luckiest place to be today was in our elementary school! Who knew Mr. Mackey was actually a leprechaun? Thank you, Mr. Mackey, for brightening our day today!


Pre-registration for Delaware Academy’s 2025-26 Pre-K Class lottery is now live! Parents who would like to pre-register their child for possible inclusion in our pre-k class this fall can do so today through Friday, April 4th. The child must be four years old by December 1, 2025 and meet other criteria to be eligible for consideration. Delaware Academy school counselors participated in the Regional School Counselor Workshop on Friday at SUNY Oneonta. The event was presented by DCMO BOCES and ONC BOCES in collaboration with the Delaware, Otsego and Chenango County Counselors Consortiums.

It was a close game all the way, but the Bulldogs end the season with a loss to Cooperstown, 48-55. Thanks to our girls varsity basketball team and Coach Bruce for a spectacular run (and a Sectional Championship!). What an exciting season!

Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi will hold a Special Board of Education Meeting and Budget Workshop on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the High School Library Media Center. The Special Meeting of the Board of Education, to discuss and approve the Capital Project bids and contracts, will begin at 5:00 p.m. and the Budget Workshop, to review the proposed budget, will follow the Special Meeting.
