There was a lot to be thankful for last week, and that includes students in the SUNY Delhi Nursing program, who donated to the DA National Junior Honor Society's Food Drive. Thank you, NJHS, for organizing the drive, and thank you to all the classes who are participating!

Herr Legg, Mr. Albright and our DA students are enjoying their German exchange experience! They started with some touring, including these sights that they’ve shared: the Checkpoint Charlie Museum and the Deutscher Dom; tour of the Eastside Gallery, an open-air art gallery on the banks of the Spree in Friedrichshain featuring the longest continuous section of the Berlin Wall still in existence; and Der Siegesäule (Victory Tower) in Berlin.
5 Delaware Academy students were inducted into the prestigious National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) on Thursday night at the DCMO BOCES Harrold Campus. Congratulations to Jonna Scherer, Augustus Miller (pictured), Rachel McLaughlin (pictured), Cheyanne Maxam and Latham Gielskie– we're proud of your achievements!
Today, students in the 10th grade Career Explorations class heard from Brandon Gregory, a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, learning about the routines of a cadet's life and the process for applying. Cadet Gregory graduated from Franklin CSD in 2022.

Meet Larissa Hulse, one of the new staff members joining us at Delaware Academy this year!
Eleven students from Delaware Academy left Delhi for Lübbecke, Germany this morning as part of an exchange program with Wittekind Gymnasium (school). They were accompanied by Herr Legg, the Delaware Academy German language teacher, and school counselor Mr. Albright. While there, they will stay with host families, visit sights in other German cities including Berlin, and take part in tours, presentations and opportunities to experience German language and culture firsthand.
We'd like to welcome Karly Barra, PA, to the Delaware Academy School-Based Health team! Karly is a board-certified physician assistant who provides care to students enrolled in DASH, Bassett’s Delaware Academy Student Health program. Please say hello when you see her in the halls or stop in!

Congratulations to our Delhi/SK Cross Country Teams on a strong performance in the New York State Championships this weekend! The boys team placed 7th and the girls team placed 5th, with many great individual performances – special congratulations to Aurelia Comer of our Delhi/SK girls team, who was named a New York State All-Star!
