When the Meredith Dairy Fest needed new wooden cow signs to promote the event, Delaware Academy students came to the rescue! Students in the school’s FFA chapter and Ms. Somers’ Woodworking/Welding class have cut dozens of new plywood cow signs, and are hard at work painting them. Look for them, coming soon to a field (or yard!) near you! The Meredith Dairy Fest takes place June 8-9.

For a recent lesson on Henry VIII’s reign, Mr. All brought the King himself in to teach it! And just to make sure the students were engaged, they all learned to sing the 1965 Herman’s Hermits hit, “I’m Henry the Eighth, I Am.” Thank you, Mr. All, for keeping us all interested!
