Members of the DA FFA, accompanied by Mr. Kline and Mrs. Somers, recently joined over 2000 participants from across NY State at the New York State FFA Convention in Buffalo. They attended a number of presentations (including from FFA State Officer and DA FFA Alum, Ellie Tarrants!), visited Niagara Falls, and toured Kelkenberg Family Farm. It was a memorable time!

Our senior Bulldogs signed letters of intent today! Nate Lull led the ceremony, which was organized and hosted by the DA Varsity Club. We look forward to their continued achievements as they move on to this next stage! #bulldogsforever

Our second grade students got a chance to create some amazing original songs with “Story Laurie” McIntosh, a local storyteller and musician. Over the course of several days, the students brainstormed, created new unique songs based on their recent study of insect life, and then performed them in an elementary assembly. Story Laurie’s songwriting residency was part of an Arts & Education Outreach program run by the Ashokan Center; that program is supported by a grant from the A. Lindsay and Olive B. O'Connor Foundation. Thank you second grade teachers, for making this happen!
