Pie, anyone?
These delicious works of art were created in Ms. Reid-Jackson's art class this spring. While you can't eat them, you can put things in them– they're pie boxes!




Commencement for the Class of 2025 will take place on Saturday, June 28 at 10:00 am. Doors open at 9:30 am. The balcony will be open for seating. Additional viewing/quiet space is available in the high school library (livestream). Link to the livestream is https://shorturl.at/jArfi

The lower softball/soccer field is nearing completion, and it looks great! Wonder how you fit a soccer field in the same place as a softball field? The yellow lines are a clue!

The Class of 2025 took their robes for a spin this morning, enjoying the traditional "Senior Walk" through the high, middle and elementary schools. There were a lot of high fives at the elementary school! #DAclassof2025

Work continues on Dave Kelly Field, with significant progress made every day. Here's how things looked on Wednesday.


Did you catch the parade? The class of 2025 assembled on Wednesday with their vehicles to receive their caps and gowns in front of the school. Then the convoy took a spin around the elementary school and downtown Delhi (on Farmer's Market Day!) to the cheering and waving of friends, families and others. #daclassof2025










Ahhh..... summer!

The Class of 2025 enjoyed a senior trip to Ocean City, Maryland May 31st - June 2nd. Mrs. Whittaker, Mr. Santaiti, Mrs. Gioffe, Ms. Cheshire and Ms. Trask got to go along, and all had a great time! #DAclassof2025

Seniors took to the hill overlooking Dave Kelly Field on June 18 to continue the long tradition of painting the rock. #DAClassof2025









Members of the Delaware Academy SADD chapter gave the elementary students a fun send off to the buses last week to celebrate one week left of school and bulldog pride! What a fun year it’s been!






Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi will hold a special board meeting on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Media Library Center. The meeting will not be livestreamed.

Mrs. Gibson and some of the 6th graders held a musical instrument "petting zoo" for Mrs. Coleman's preschool class last week. Students got to touch, hold and try some different instruments to become more familiar with them. It was great fun for everyone!


Due to the expected heat this week, Delaware Academy will operate on a half-day schedule for grades PreK thru 6 on Monday, June 23 and Tuesday, June 24.
As a result, students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM from Monday through Thursday of this week. There is no change to scheduled Regents examinations.

The 1st-3rd Grade Concert was held on Friday to a full and appreciative house! There were entertaining songs from all 3 grades, and the 3rd graders also showed off their skills on the recorder! Thank you to Mrs. Buel and Mrs. Gibson for leading a delightful performance, and thank you to the 1st-3rd grade teachers and aides for all their help and support!

Oh, boy, it's time for more field days! The high school had theirs on Monday in the gym, and the elementary school had theirs today at the American Legion Field in Delhi. What a fun time!









Seniors Brinley Wager and Rocco Schnabel carried on a Delaware Academy tradition Monday, ringing the bell in the tower to mark the last day of classes at the high school (Regents testing continues this week and next).


The Middle School Spring Concert took place June 3, and it was wonderful – so much talent! The concert featured performances by the Concert Band, Chorus, Jazz Band, and Orchestra, as well as a solo violin performance by Hannah Doig. Thank you, Ms. Lindner, Mrs. Gibson, Ms. Lamb, and Ms. Curley for a lovely evening of music!
