There will be a Capital Project Community Forum tonight from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. This event will take an Open House approach in the Lobby of the High School in order to provide community members the opportunity to ask questions of a number of individuals who participated in the planning of the project. Tables will be set up for each group in order to maximize access and the ability to answer the greatest number of questions possible for the greatest number of attendees. There will be opportunities for personal engagement and conversations in a number of different areas, and informational handouts on the project and of previous presentations will also be available. There will be no formal presentation, so attendees may arrive at any time during the event. There will be representatives to talk with from these areas:
• Schoolhouse Construction Management for questions about pre-referendum planning
• Highland Associates Architects for questions about design
• Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent for questions about financing and other details
• Student Representatives for results of a student survey and student voice
• Board of Education members for questions about the Board's role in planning
• District Clerk for questions about voting and absentee ballots
• Administrators & District Leaders for questions about instructional impact & site tours for those who are interested
We look forward to seeing you there! Note the time for this week's open house is 5:00-6:00 pm.

More NY Thursday happenings: students from the Digital Information and Production class taught by Mr. Abts visited the elementary school cafeteria and learned how to make rice bowls with Jessica Schultz. The rice bowls used feta cheese from Painted Goat Farm. The visit was part of an ongoing project in the class to produce short features about interesting things at the schools.
