Get ready to snap your fingers– The Addams Family opens this week! This humorous tale follows the story of Wednesday Addams, who has grown up and fallen in love with an unlikely young man from Ohio. Fearing her unusual family might scare her fiancé’s family off, she instructs them to give her “one normal night”.... and you can guess how that goes! We kick off with a free dress rehearsal and dinner for senior citizens on Thursday beginning at 4:00 pm, then Friday and Saturday night performances at 7:00 pm, closing with a 2:00 pm show on Sunday. You don't want to miss this entertaining musical! Tickets are $10 per person, or $5 for children 10 and under.

The Board of Education of the Delaware Academy Central School District at Delhi will hold a Special Meeting and Budget Workshop Monday, March 9 at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Media Library Center. It is anticipated that the Board will convene an executive session at 5:00 p.m.; the public Budget Workshop and Special Meeting session will begin following the completion of executive session business. The Delaware Academy Student Senate will host a community blood drive with the American Red Cross tomorrow, Thursday, March 5 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Delaware Academy Middle School Gymnasium (note the change in location). Spectators attending tonight’s sectional basketball games at Delaware Academy should be prepared for limited parking and modified traffic patterns on and near the school grounds. Here are some parking tips:
· consider carpooling
· follow all directional signs and directions from those directing traffic
· additional overflow parking is available in the parking lot behind the Delaware County Office Building at 111 Main Street. A free shuttle will operate from 4:00 pm until after the second game

If you have previously purchase tickets for one of these games they will be honored for tonight’s games at Delaware Academy. NEW TIMES! The Section IV Class C Girls Varsity Basketball game originally scheduled for Tuesday night at Tompkins Cortland Community College has been rescheduled to Wednesday night. Additionally, the Section IV Class C Boys Varsity Basketball game has been changed to a new time and location: both games will now take place at Delaware Academy in the high school gym. Girls game begins at 5:00 pm, boys game at 6:45 pm. Previously purchased tickets for these games may still be used. Let's go, Bulldogs!
Due to the weather, all after-school activities are canceled for today, Tuesday March 3. The Girls Varsity Basketball Section IV Semi-Finals at TC3 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 4. Both the girls and boys sectional games will now take place on Wednesday at Delaware Academy: the girls game vs. Moravia at 6:00 pm, the boys game vs. Trumansburg at 7:45 pm.
