Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi will hold its August school board meeting on Monday, August 24, 2026, with the public session beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library Media Center. Those who are interested in viewing it online may do so at https://youtube.com/live/C7c9Jo74Xa8.

It may be summer, but there's a lot going on around the school campus this week! Crews sealed and striped the parking lots and drive at the middle school and elementary school on Monday. Another crew is working on sealing and painting the tennis courts all this week. And up high, our own DA team is scraping and painting the bell tower. All of these projects help to maintain and protect our school infrastructure, and we appreciate the efficiency and dedication of the workers and the patience of the DA community. Thank you!

Heads up! The DA tennis courts will be unavailable beginning Monday, August 10, allowing workers to prep and paint the court surface. They will be available again beginning Monday, August 17. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Reminder–Pre-K and Kindergarten screening days are coming up next week!
Please note that the location has been changed to the high school library/media center - parking is available in front of the high school. Other details, including specific screening times, will be communicated to families directly by email. What an exciting time!

Attention Parents and Athletes: As we prepare for the upcoming fall sports season at Delaware Academy, please make sure to complete all required forms on FinalForms as soon as possible. Remember:
- All forms must be completed on FinalForms before the start of the season
- New York State requires a new Health History Form each season your child participates in a sport.
- This form must be filled out within 30 days before the start of the season.
- Physicals must be up to date and reviewed before the start of practice.
Varsity football starts on Monday, August 17th and other varsity and JV sports start August 24. Modified football starts on Monday, August 31st, and all other modified sports start on September 8.. Athletes will NOT be allowed to begin practice without a current physical and all FinalForms completed. If your child is not yet signed up for a fall sport and would like to be, please contact Athletic Director Kyle Murray as soon as possible to get them registered. It was an exciting day at Delaware Academy– the gold dome has returned to the top of our high school building! The original dome has been replicated to be more durable and weather resistant, and today was the day it got hoisted into place. We're delighted our tower once again has a bright, gold dome! Thank you to District Clerk Lisa Kulaski for documenting the event.

Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi will host its annual Board of Education Reorganization meeting on Thursday, July 9, 2026. The board will convene at 6:00 pm. There will be a Regular Board of Education Meeting immediately following the Annual Reorganizational meeting. Just a reminder: school may be done for the year, but Bassett School Based Health Centers will be open this summer! That includes DASH, in the middle school building, which will be open on Wednesdays. Your student can be seen at any of the Bassett School Based Health Centers– here's the full summer schedule for your reference.

The 206th Commencement Ceremony took place this morning, and we thank all the friends, family, teachers, administrators, board trustees and staff who came to support and celebrate our candidates for graduation. There will be more photos (many more!) to come, but these give a sense of this lovely event. Congratulations to the Delaware Academy Class of 2026!

That’s a wrap!
Delaware Academy teachers, staff and administrators gathered in the elementary school cafeteria today for a luncheon to mark the end of the school year. Mr. Shultz thanked everyone for a great year, and along with Ms. Trask, Ms. Liddle and Ms. Dutcher, congratulated several individuals on their retirements: teacher’s aide Sue Davidson, elementary teacher Christina Boice, and computer technician Tina Hanrahan. Science teacher Don Sanford was also recognized for coming out of retirement for this school year. It was a great ending to a great school year!

Members of the Delaware Academy SADD chapter gave the elementary students a fun send off to the buses on Wednesday to show some Bulldog pride and celebrate the next-to-last day of school! What a fun year it’s been!
