Spoiler alert: fun was had Friday night at the DA Elementary Carnival! Perfect weather greeted our elementary students and their families, who enjoyed the games, prizes and refreshments, as well as the opportunity to chat with friends. Thanks to Mr. Albright, Miss Emilio and the Carnival Committee and all the DA staff who worked to get things ready, as well as our staff and student volunteers at the event. Special shoutout to Mr. Mackay for manning the pie-in-the-face table with courage and humor!

Delhi resident Edward Chytalo got to show off the two giant pumpkins he's been growing in the school garden to several of the elementary school classes today. He read a pumpkin story to the kindergarteners before allowing them to see the two giants, one weighing 570 pounds and one weighing 420 pounds. Students got to pose for individual photos with the larger pumpkin, and even Mr. Mackey got to join in the fun!
