Still undefeated! The varsity volleyball team picked up their second win yesterday, defeating Greene 3-0. Next up for the varsity: home game against Unatego, Tuesday, September 22. The JV team will be participating in the Union-Endicott JV Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 19, at Union-Endicott High School. Let’s go, Bulldogs!

Congratulations to Paisley Smith and Sophia Cohen. The two seniors will be joining the Delaware Academy Board of Education as student members for the 2026-2027 school year. They'll be learning more about their role in the coming weeks, and look forward to representing student voices and interests.

The Plant Science class worked on the elementary school garden beds with some of Ms. Gardners former second grade students. Together they harvested beets, turnips, and potatoes and weeded out plants that are done for the season. Best of all, the freshly-harvested produce is now part of tasty lunch items in the cafeteria!
6th Grade Science got off to a memorable start last week, with Mr. Snedeker rocking a NASA suit for the class. Welcome to DA, Mr. Snedeker – we're glad you landed here!
DASH, our Bassett School-Based Health Centers, are back to regular school-year hours, including early opening Fridays at the middle school/high school DASH location. DASH hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm; Friday from 8:00 am-3:30 pm (elementary) and Monday thru Thursday from 8:00 am-4:00 pm; Friday from 7:00 am-3:30 pm.
Practice makes perfect! Girls and boys varsity soccer teams are shown practicing on Dave Kelly Field. The boys had a win and a loss in the Campbell Tournament this week, falling to Liberty 3-2 in the first round but beating Fallsburg 1-0 on Friday. The girls also notched a win and a loss, defeating Eldred 7-0 earlier this week, and falling to Bainbridge-Guilford 3-2 in the Flannery Tournament Thursday. The boys play Cooperstown at home on Monday, and the girls host Oxford Academy on Tuesday. Let's go, Bulldogs!
The Bulldogs notched wins on the golf course and Dave Kelly Field Friday! Cameron Winner led the varsity golfers to victory over Oxford Academy, 237-258. The team is now 6-0, and faces undefeated Sidney on Monday. The varsity football team dominated Spencer-Van Etten/Candor from the get-go, led 48-0 at halftime, and took the home opener with a final score of 55-0. Way to go, Bulldogs!

4 matches, 4 wins in 2 days: first, DA over B-G 236-256 in golf and a win for the girls soccer team over Walton/Downsville, 4-0 on Thursday. Then on Friday, the boys soccer team defeated Unadilla Valley/Gilbertsville-Mount Upton 7-3 and the varsity football team scored a BIG win over defending state champion Tioga, 41-26. What a great start to the season! Keep it going, Bulldogs!
