Students release some painted lady butterflies, the culmination of a fun classroom project last week with Ms. Knapp, Middle School AIS teacher. Students completed a graphic organizer and wrote a paragraph about the experience.

We look forward to seeing you!

Calling the school? The menu options at our main number, 607-746-1300, have recently changed, so listen closely to ensure that you are directed to the correct extension.

Here's your opportunity to join our great team!

We're pleased to see the return of "Dinner's Ready," a great community initiative where neighbors are encouraged to invite SUNY Delhi students to their homes for dinner. You can sign up to participate at the Community Picnic on the Courthouse Square, Monday, September 18.

There's a lot going on next Thursday – along with our Middle School/High School Open House at 6:00 pm, there'll be a Lasagna Dinner from 4:00 - 6:00 pm sponsored by the Class of 2027– plan to make a night of it!

It’s NY Thursday! Our farm-to-school lunches this week featured Corn Chowder made with sweet corn from Tyler Hymer, BLT sandwiches using heirloom tomatoes from Pristine Acres Farm, Rice Bowls with feta cheese from Painted Goat Farm, and Creste Di Gallo with Kale Pesto, with ingredients from the Catskill Pasta Company and Chicory Creek Farm. We also had Dragon Noodles, with ground pork from Catskill Food Company and green onions from East Brook Community Farm. So many tasty options!

Transportation Director Greg Verspoor reminds us that with the start of the new school year, we all need to be extra careful around stopped school buses.
Take a look at these great after school programs from the Delaware Academy PTA!

The boys and girls cross country teams (varsity and JV) had a great run yesterday at Unadilla Valley. They'll be running again this Saturday, when they compete in the pre-state meet at Vernon Verona Sherrill in Vernon, NY.

It's almost time for our HS/MS Open House! The Class of 2027 is also hosting a Lasagna Dinner from 4-6 pm that night in the High School Cafeteria- hope we'll see you for both!

Remembering those we lost 22 years ago on 9/11.

It's back-to-school time for some area farms, too! Our school lunches have featured several specialty dishes already, including Bean and Bacon Soup, with slab bacon from Catskill Food Company, black and pinto beans from Samuel Weaver, white potatoes and carrots from Chicory Creek, and plain chevre cheese from Painted Goat Farm. Today's NY Thursday dishes included Lemon Garlic Chicken, with chicken from Greenane Farm, garlic and parsley from Chicory Creek, and unsalted butter from Family Farmstead, served with white potatoes and carrots from Chicory Creek. There were also Chickpea and Goat Cheese Rice Bowls, with local goat cheese from Painted Goat. Delicious, and local!

First day starts pretty early at the bus garage! Jennifer Rucker accompanied new driver Randy Stanton this morning. Students were able to disembark in front of the high school and use the new steps for the first day of school. We're off to a great start!

We're so excited to see everybody this morning!

Monday was Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup at Delaware Academy Elementary School. Our youngest Bulldogs came with their families to meet their teachers and classmates. What a fun morning!

It was Orientation tonight for 9th Graders and their families! Staff greeted the new high schoolers, who received their schedules and locker assignments, learned about pathways to graduation and extracurricular opportunities, and had the opportunity to find their new high school classrooms. Great job, everybody!
