Section IV playoffs begin Friday for the boys varsity basketball team in their home gym! Tipoff at 6pm, student admission $2, adults $4, max charge is $10 dollars/family. Come on out to support the Bulldogs!

Our varsity girls' basketball team beat Candor 57-38 in their first sectional game Wednesday night, giving Coach Todd Bruce his 300th win (and a "300th Win" basketball)) . The Bulldogs now advance to play Greene on Saturday in Greene, Time TBD. Congratulations, Bulldogs! Congratulations, Coach Bruce!

And she's off! It was an enthusiastic send-off for Walton/Delaware Academy wrestler Cadence Guy, as she leaves for the NYS Girls Wrestling Championships. Opening ceremonies are 9:30 am Thursday in Albany's MVP Arena. Good luck, Cadence– we're cheering for you!

The JV boys basketball team defeated Unatego/Franklin 68-47 Tuesday night to win the inaugural JV MAC Championship. Congratulations to Coach Kelly and our Bulldog champions!

Congratulations to Cadence Guy, selected by officials as the most outstanding wrestler at the Section IV Girls High School Wrestling Tournament this weekend. Finishing 1st in the 101-pound class, Cadence will advance to the New York State championship tournament. Way to go, Cadence!

Five Walton/Delaware Academy boys placed in the Section IV High School Wrestling Tournament this weekend. Congratulations to Linkin Backus (101 pounds) and Aiden Branigan (116 pounds) who placed 3rd, Justin Somers (138 pounds) and Jaxon Backus (170 pounds) who placed 4th, and Hayden Robinson (116 pounds), who placed 6th. Thanks for a great season!

In the first-ever sanctioned Section IV Girls High School Wrestling Tournament, Cadence Guy finished first in the 101-pound weight class. Penelope Gielskie fought very hard and placed 4th in the 126-pound class. Cadence Guy was also selected by the officials as the most outstanding wrestler. Cadence has earned the chance to compete for a state title in Albany. Congratulations to all the Walton-Delaware Academy girls who wrestled Saturday!

The 5th grade orchestra, 5th grade chorus and 5th grade band delivered a delightful performance Tuesday! The students were well prepared, as our music department did a great job with them! Thank you to Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Buel, Mrs. Lindner and accompanist Mrs. Wheatley, and a special thanks to Chi-Young Hwang, who was our long-term substitute for Mrs. Buel from September-December.
