About the Project:
The D.A. Care Closet, an initiative of the 2024–2025 CASSC Leadership group, provides students with essential items such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and school supplies at no cost. The Care Closet is supported through community monetary donations, which help purchase needed items. It operates in partnership with the High School Student Senate, which assists with managing the project’s funds.

If you would like to donate, please send a check payable to "Delaware Academy Student Senate" with "Care Closet" in the memo.  Checks can be mailed to: D.A. Care Closet, c/o Mrs. Amanda Kane, School Counselor, Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi, 2 Sheldon Drive, Delhi, New York 13753. Checks or new hygiene items (i.e. toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, socks, undergarments) may also be left at the main office.

About the CASSC Leadership Group:
A group of eight students participated in the Catskill Area School Study Council (CASSC) Leadership Conference last year, and part of their participation was to complete a project to benefit their community. The D.A. Care Closet was their creation, and they are excited about the project making a difference in the lives of some of their fellow students.
