The district has recently been informed of an academic scheduling conflict regarding the original dates of the senior trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey. Unfortunately, we were notified of an important academic event that affects the participation of some of our seniors, after the trip had been scheduled. Consequently, we need to adjust the trip dates from June 10-12, 2024, to June 9-11, 2024, to ensure that seniors can fully participate in all available senior activities and events. Our advisors have diligently coordinated this shift with accommodations and vendors to maintain the original trip itinerary with no additional out-of-pocket costs to our students.

Additionally, during this process, we discovered that the aquarium, previously anticipated to reopen after renovations, will now delay its opening until July 2024. We appreciate learning of this situation promptly and are developing an alternative activity for the students during the previously scheduled aquarium visit.

This decision was not made lightly, but in a way that prioritizes equitable access to all scheduled academic events that affect our seniors. If this recent update affects your decision to participate in the trip, please inform the class advisors, Mr. Rolfe or Mrs. McGrath. The $50 security deposit will be fully refunded by April 10, 2024.

Seniors and Parents.....It's time to think about the senior trip!  The Class of 2024 will be going on their senior trip to The Jersey Shore.... Atlantic City, NJ on June 10-12, 2024. Here's the itinerary.  If you plan to attend you must print out and return the forms (below) by February 15, 2024 so we can finalize arrangements and pay certain vendors.  We should have a great experience so fill them out and return the forms to Mrs. McGrath or Mr. Rolfe by February 15, 2024.

Cap and Gown orders should be ordered by Tuesday, February 27, 2024.  

Seniors, please go to NYGRAD.COM,  select Delaware Academy, scroll to find the package you would like to order.  You must purchase a cap, gown and tassel at minimum.  That minimum package is $48.00.  You may order extra items if you wish.  You may use a sibling's or a relative's cap and gown (you'll still need a tassel) but you must bring in the cap and gown for approval, colors and design have changed and some may not be suitable for use anymore. 

Your cap and gown will be delivered to school for distribution in June but any other items you order will be shipped directly to you.
