Pricing and Payment Options

School meals are a great value and a huge convenience for busy families. Parents may prepay for student meals by sending in a check or cash, to be added to their child’s account.

Sending Cash Or Check

  • You can add money to your child's account by filling out an envelope and sealing the payment inside. Your child can give this envelope to any cashier at his/her school. The funds will be placed on the student's account. You may also use the district food service webpage to place funds electronically on your student's account.

  • The envelope should be clearly marked with your child's name, grade, and homeroom. If the payment is for more than one child, indicate how the money should be split (for example, Johnny = $10.00 and Sally = $15.00).

  • We encourage payment be made in the form of a check made payable to Delaware Academy Central School District. Cash payments will also be accepted.

  • Payment can be made in any amount your budget will allow. Students who have money on account will not have to worry about lunch money every morning and will go through the lunch line more quickly at school.

  • Prepayment Form

Parents are encouraged to complete the Prepayment form for Elementary students. The Food Service Department offers snacks based on the USDA Healthier US School Challenge. The prepayment form is used as a guide by the Food Service Department to ensure funds are spent to the parent’s specifications.
