About the Project:
The “D.A. Care Closet” is a new initiative from a student leadership group that aims to help students who may lack basic essentials like hygiene items and clothing with the items they need to feel confident and supported. The Care Closet will be stocked with new items purchased for the closet. We are seeking monetary donations from the community to help purchase them. The leadership group is working in conjunction with the High School Student Senate to manage and monitor funds associated with the project.

If you would like to donate, please send a check payable to "Delaware Academy Student Senate" with "Care Closet" in the memo to D.A. Care Closet, c/o Mrs. Amanda Kane, School Counselor, Delaware Academy CSD at Delhi, 2 Sheldon Drive, Delhi, New York 13753. Checks and new clothing or hygiene (i.e. toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, socks, undergarments) items may also be left at the main office.

About the CASSC Leadership Group:
A group of eight juniors have been participating in Catskill Area School Study Council (CASSC) conferences throughout the year, and part of their participation is the completion of a project to benefit their community. The D.A. Care Closet is their project, and they are excited about the potential of the project to make a meaningful difference in the loves of some of their fellow students. Mrs. Kane is the group's advisor.
