I Just Read a Great Book!!!

Clemency Pogue: Fairy Killer by J.T. Petty. When an annoying fairy attacks Clemency in the woods one day she cries out "I don't believe in fairies!" Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. This book is about a girl that moves to a town that rarely has sun. She used to live in a big city were everyone did not know each other. The first day of school everyone knew who she was. She meets a boy that has an extraordinary secret. They start to date and fall in love. He is a vampire and is in love with a girl. Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan. This was a good book. I liked that there were vampires in this book, but it was not a scary book. it was also very interesting. Anonymous 8th grader

The Giver by Lois Lowry. The giver is about a boy named Jonas who lives in a futureistic world were everything about a persons life is controled by the "community". The day that the jobs of the children are given, Jonas is given the one job that allows true freedom. The rest of the book deals with Jonas realising the problems with the "community". -Jacob C.
