I Just Read a Great Book!!!

 

Clemency Pogue: Fairy Killer by J.T. Petty. When an annoying fairy attacks Clemency in the woods one day she cries out "I don't believe in fairies!" Call of the Wild by Jack London. It is about a dog who has a great owner and one day he is stolen. He gets sold somewhere up north, and gets sold again, and again. The book is about how this dog becomes a sled dog, and good bad things just keep on happening until his new owner dies. Then the dog has nowhere else to go except for the wild, so he lives in the wild. Nick

This book tells an extrodinary tale of an extrodinary teenager named Alfred Kropp. Alfred Kropp was nothing special until he meets his long lost uncle who needs his help to aquire the legendary sword of King Author, Excalibur. Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. This book is about a girl that moves to a town that rarely has sun. She used to live in a big city were everyone did not know each other. The first day of school everyone knew who she was. She meets a boy that has an extraordinary secret. They start to date and fall in love. He is a vampire and is in love with a girl. Will he be able to hold back his thirst?Libby

Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan. This was a good book. I liked that there were vampires in this book, but it was not a scary book. it was also very interesting. Anonymous 8th grader

White Fang by Jack London. This book was about a boy with a dog who goes to the Klondike. On the way he encounters many troubles. Sarah

The Giver by Lois Lowry. The giver is about a boy named Jonas who lives in a futureistic world were everything about a persons life is controled by the "community". The day that the jobs of the children are given, Jonas is given the one job that allows true freedom. The rest of the book deals with Jonas realising the problems with the "community". -Jacob C.

Drift houseby Dale Peck.   This book is about three british kids who have to live with their uncle for a while. The house has a very interesting past and the kids have been sucked in to a world of mermaids, whales, time pirates and a situation that could stop the trickle of time forever. Joe B.
