Registering New Students
Announcement for Kindergarten Registration
Children living in the Delhi Central School District who are eligible to enter Kindergarten in the fall of 2008 must be registered. If you have not done so, please contact the Registrar’s office at 746-1332 for a registration packet. Your child must be 5 years old on or before December 1, 2008.
Registration for children planning to enter the Delhi program this fall will be held in the morning from 8:15 to 10:15 according to the following schedule:

DES students with last names beginning with A-K register at the Delhi Elementary School Cafeteria |
| Friday, March 7th |
DES students with last names beginning with L-Z register at the Delhi Elementary School Cafeteria |
Parents, please bring your child’s Birth Certificate, Immunization Records, and Proof of Residency with you.

New students should register in the Registrar’s Office located in the High School Building. Four items that are needed or will be helpful when registering:
- birth certificate
- immunization records
- proof of residency
- a copy of your student’s last report card and/or a copy of a current schedule.
Proof of residency needs to have the parents name and the physical (911) address of where the student is living - example: School tax statement, rental agreement, or major utility bill.
Although health and school records will be sent for, it is easier to have the information immediately available in order to place the student in the correct program.
It is suggested that parent’s bring in new students as soon as possible; do not wait until the first day of school. When possible, an appointment with the Registrar is recommended. Students will not attend class on the day they register.
