Directions

1. Choose an article from any newspaper. Available online or in your home.
2. The story must be about the United States.
3. You must hand in a copy of the story with your answers to the following questions.
4. All questions must be answered on a separate sheet of paper

Questions to answer for each current event assignment.

1. What is the Headline or Title of the story?
2. What is the name of the newspaper and the date of the article?
3. Who or what is the story about?
4. When did the event happen?
5. Where did it happen?
6. Why did it happen?
7. Write a brief summary of this story in your own words. (Two or three complete sentences is enough for this question.)
8. Create a new title for this article.
9. Predict the effect of this event on the future of people in this area. (One to two complete sentences.)
